Three of gospel music's most prolific songwriters are coming together to offer what promises to be a glorious musical event.  Song Of A Lifetime (SOAL) creator Phil Cross has teamed up with Gerald Crabb and Mark Bishop to present the Song Of A Lifetime Tour. This is a musical experience that brings these three award-winning writers and performers to cities all across the nation joining forces with church and community choirs. The result is an evening of worship, outstanding music featuring some of the top charted songs in gospel music history, as well as the stories behind how the songs were written.  And they would love to bring this landmark event to your area.

Phil says, "People love to hear stories of how their favorite songs came to be. There's something unique and powerful about getting that behind-the-scenes story that makes the song even more special. Gerald, Mark, and I are passionate about reaching people with the message in a song. This tour is the perfect way to combine all three of those passions and hopefully involve a large portion of the communities in which we will be going."

With over 65 combined years of writing experience, Phil, Mark, and Gerald have a wealth of stories to share about their music.  Phil Cross's music has spanned generations and all gospel music genres.  He has penned hit songs for countless artists and amassed numerous top ten hits recognized by gospel artists across the spectrum.  Mark Bishop's songs are the foundation for the success of his family's former group, the award-winning Bishops, and his unique way of telling a story through his music continues to serve as the main source of material for his own highly successful solo ministry. Gerald Crabb also established himself as a songwriter through the music of his family group, The Crabb Family. Gerald's recent success includes being presented with two Dove awards for 2011-Songwriter of the Year as well as for the winning Song of the Year, Sometimes I Cry.  All three writers are known as respected leaders in the songwriting arena as well as stage performers, and SOAL combines all their talents in one spectacular presentation. 

The preparations for this tour event are already underway.  Plans are for each of the men to sing some of their songs individually, do a few together, and involve a large choir and perhaps a special writer or group along the way.  The Song Of A Lifetime songwriter's showcase is one of the most talked about, and most attended, annually at the National Quartet Convention, and its popularity has prompted TBN to produce a Song Of A Lifetime television special this summer.  Brentwood Benson Publishing Company is also producing a special choral series in conjunction with SOAL.  On the heels of such success, Phil, Gerald, and Mark are ready to take that excitement to cities and towns to share the experience with people everywhere.  And you can be a part of this great event.
